I've been using a great pair of Aero (spectron 3) in my ski traverses in Arctic Norway but it was time to change.
I needed a lense good for overcast conditions (very prevalent over here) but that could work alright in the 'sort of sunny' days you get in February (March does become sunnier though).
I'm very happy with these (light amplifier 1-3). I've used them this far in a 5 days ski traverse with very positive results: great fit, comfortable, good enough wind protection, good visibility and no fog at all, at least while wearing the 'optional' nose protector. (l got fog when doing an easy hike back home in DC. My old Aero do better on this regard).
Again, no fog when having a stop & go break, finding my way, or changing layers but having the nose protector on (see picture).
As much as l love them, in order to set expectations, in overcast conditions, you see less daylight with than without them. I thought l would see the same amount of light with/out then but nope, that's not the case.
I bought the nose protector and that's absolutely gorgeous in windy conditions. It's always dry, never detaches and you can still blow your nose fine. Excellently made, really.

I would have kept these if the tint had been in the warm range instead of the blue-grey. Fit great, super light, adapt to changing light for trail running. From using Julbos for a long time, I know they resist scratches for years. Hope to see a pair in the future that don't have the mirror treatment (that seems to be the source of patchy sun reflecting back on my eyes?).
