3rd pair of Julbos & won't use anything else for all outdoor activity. Destroyed the first on a through hike of the PCT. Reactiv lens - brown w/ polarization is best Ive tried in US desert southwest and for high elevation snow travel.

I reached out to Julbo to request their darkest sunglasses. They replied quickly with the Monterosa 2.
I ordered them and they fit the bill. Simple, right. Sometimes, I have found out, even simple situations like this don't work out so easy...

Clear vision in bright light. Good eye protection. Still fairly clear and not too dark in medium light like early evening. Love these. Julbo lens vision the best all around.

Bought a pair for me and my partner for a trip to Antarctica. They were great for the glare but my partner lost his and I lost mine a couple weeks ago to a large wave while swimming in the Atlantic. So we ordered 2 more as they are perfect for where we live - Palm Springs.
