At Julbo, every prescription order is custom-made specifically for you at our RX Lab using the prescription information and frame selection you provide. Because each pair is personalized and manufactured to your exact specifications, prescription eyewear is not eligible for return. We ask that all prescription details be carefully reviewed before placing your order, as prescriptions cannot be modified and orders cannot be canceled once production has begun.

Your prescription eyewear should deliver clear, comfortable vision from the trailhead to the summit. That's why every Julbo RX order is backed by our 90-Day Clear Vision Guarantee.
If you're having trouble adapting to your new prescription, we recommend wearing your eyewear consistently for 2–4 weeks. It's common for eyes and brains to need some time to adjust to a new prescription, lens design, or lens placement.
If you're still experiencing vision-related issues within 90 days of receiving your eyewear, reach out to our team at info@julbousa.com. We'll work with you and our RX Lab to understand the issue and determine the best path forward.
Resolutions may include:
- One-time prescription remake
- Warranty repair or replacement
- Potential full or partial refund
This guarantee is designed specifically for prescription-related concerns. It does not apply to frame style preferences, lens color preferences, lens type preferences, fit or comfort preferences, prescription changes made after purchase, or other issues unrelated to prescription performance or manufacturing quality.
2-Year Prescription Lens & Manufacturing Warranty
We stand behind the quality of every prescription pair we make. All Julbo RX eyewear is covered by a 2-year warranty against manufacturing defects.
Warranty Coverage includes:
- Defects in prescription lens manufacturing, lens coatings and treatments
- Lens fabrication errors
- Lens installation issues
- Manufacturing defects related to the RX frame
What isn't covered:
- Normal wear and tear, scratches
- Accidental damage
- Impact damage
- Improper care
- Lost or stolen eyewear
- Prescription changes after purchase
If a manufacturing defect is identified, we'll repair or replace the affected components under warranty. If the issue is not covered by warranty, please reach out to us at info@julbousa.com and we will assist you.

Can I return my Julbo prescription eyewear?
Because all Julbo prescription eyewear is custom-built using your prescription details and selected frame, prescription eyewear is not eligible for returns.
Are refunds available for prescription eyewear?
Refunds are not guaranteed for prescription eyewear. In certain cases, if an issue cannot be resolved within warranty guidelines, a refund may be offered at Julbo’s discretion.
Can I cancel or edit my prescription order after placing it?
No. Once a prescription order has been submitted, it enters our production queue and cannot be edited, modified, or canceled. We strongly recommend carefully reviewing your prescription values, frame selection, and lens choice before submitting your order.
What if something doesn’t feel right with my prescription eyewear?

What solutions are available if there is an issue with my order?
Depending on the situation, solutions may include a warranty repair or replacement, a lens remake due to a verified manufacturing issue, or an alternative solution when appropriate.
What qualifies for a prescription remake?
Prescription remakes are considered when there is a verified manufacturing defect related to lens fabrication or installation performed by our Rx Lab. Preference changes or prescription changes unrelated to a manufacturing defect are not eligible for remakes.
What is covered under the JulboRx prescription lens warranty?
All prescription products produced by our Rx Lab are covered by a 2-year warranty against manufacturing defects. This includes defects related to lens fabrication or installation performed by our lab.
What is not covered under the prescription lens warranty?
The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, accidental damage, misuse, improper care, scratches, impact damage, damage occurring after delivery, or prescription changes unrelated to a manufacturing defect.
Are scratched lenses covered under warranty?
No. Scratches and impact damage are considered normal wear or accidental damage and are not covered under the prescription lens warranty.
What if my issue is not covered under warranty?
If your eyewear is still wearable, we offer spare parts such as temples, frame fronts, and side shields to help extend the life of your Julbos. Spare lenses sold through our spare parts program are not prescription lenses.
What happens if my frame or color is discontinued?
Replacement frames and spare parts are subject to availability. Once a model or color is discontinued, availability cannot be guaranteed.
