FAQ
REACTIV lenses are photochromic and adjust to changing light conditions by getting lighter or darker depending on the amount of UV light present. REACTIV lenses are made of NXT (Trivex), which has the clarity of glass and exceptional durability and impact resistance.
SPECTRON lenses are not photochromic and will not lighten or darken. SPECTRON lenses are made of polycarbonate, which is shatter resistant, and are a versatile lens suitable for all types of activities.
Proper cleaning helps prevent damage and extends the life of your lenses. Avoid using solvents, chemical cleaners, paper products, gloves, or anything abrasive, as these can scratch the lens. Scratches are not covered under our lifetime warranty, so be sure to clean and store your eyewear carefully to keep it in top shape.
CLEANING SUNGLASSES
1. Gently wash the frame and lens in soapy water.
2. Rinse the frame and lens thoroughly with clean water.
3. Wipe away moisture with a soft microfiber cloth or non-abrasive material. Let the glasses air-dry.
4. Store glasses in their microfiber case/pouch. Avoid direct sunlight or leaving next to a heat source.

I live in the deserts of the West Texas. Temperatures exceed 100 with single digit humidity 3-4 months a year. Wind blows dust and dirt in excess of 30 mph another 2 months a year. I use the chams to keep my eyes debris free when the dirt is blowing and in the heat they keep my eyes from drying out. The spetron 3 lenses aren't overly dark so I can still see what I'm doing while my eyes are protected. It's like air conditioning for my eyes. The leather doesn't get hot like other metal frames. Also I like that I can buy replacement parts. I live in them. And they're great when I go fishing.

got mine for a trip to ski BC. I hate goggles and these glasses fit perfectly and I didn't get watery eyes once. Can't wait to use them on the water this summer

Had an earlier pair given to me by my wife. Set them down at a ski area during lunch and they 'got picked up'. My replacements are great but I still wish I was wearing my first pair.

The retro look caught my eye, and I was happy to find that they perform just as well as they look. The only issue I had was a slightly tight fit around my temples after wearing them for several hours. Otherwise, they're fantastic for hiking and general outdoor use.
